This policy explains what information HTX Backyard (“we”) collects through htxbackyard.com, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- What you submit: name, phone number, email, ZIP code, project type, budget range, timeline, HOA status, notes, and any photo link you provide.
- Consent records: whether you checked the consent box, the exact consent wording you saw, the date and time, and the page address.
- Basic technical data: information your browser sends, such as browser type, which our web host and form provider use to deliver the service and block spam.
How we use it
- To review your request and, only if you checked the consent box, share it with one participating builder matched to your project.
- To contact you about your request by email and, if you consented, by phone call or text message.
- To keep records of consent and opt-outs, prevent fraud and spam, and improve the site.
Who we share it with
- Your matched builder: one builder per request, and only with your consent. Builders are independent businesses with their own privacy practices. Participating builders pay HTX Backyard a fee for introductions.
- Service providers that host the site or process form submissions for us (for example, Cloudflare hosts this site, and our request form is run by Tally; Tally’s privacy policy is at tally.so).
- Legal reasons: when the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety.
We don’t sell your personal information to data brokers.
Calls and texts
If you consented, we and your one matched builder may call or text you about your project, including with automated technology. Consent isn’t a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or email [email protected]. Message and data rates may apply.
Your choices
- You can withdraw consent or ask us to delete your request at any time by emailing [email protected]. We’ll stop sharing your request and tell the builder who already has it, if any, that you’ve opted out.
- You can ask what information we hold about you.
Retention
We keep requests as long as we need them to provide the service. We keep consent and opt-out records as long as needed to show compliance.
Children
This site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the effective date above.
